taken from: Gundam Philippines
i was browsing through old gundams trying to find inspiration for future projects, then i bumped into this guy…
the Mermaid Gundam.
seriously, what is this thing? its a fish… with a gundam head in its mouth. actually at first i thought the fish ate the gundam, but it turns out that the fish is the gundam! hahaha as much as i love gundams, in my opinion, this has got to be the most hilarious one.
i mean look at it, I'm at loss of words right now.. i don't know how to describe it… its a freaking fish!
see! fish mode...
I'm being quite mean to this guy, i should probably make it up to him by posting a cool photo of it.
here we go!
now it looks more menacing… hahahaha who am i kidding? it still looks hilarious.
by the way… mermaid gundam's got an enemy.
hahahahahahahahahahaha!
guess i can start looking for inspiration in another series…
till next time!
with the extra free days i have been receiving its time to see if this kit really is worth buying.
the TG3 got a lot of attention since it happened to be released before a Bandai version, people claim that it has the same quality of Bandai's models and some say that its even better. well, theres only one way to find out, lets build.
it seems that DM uses ABS plastic for they're kits as well, every runner except clear parts and PCs are made from ABS. though the quality seems softer than that of bandai's, and quite hard to remove with only your hands, so i do suggest using your cutters for this one.
as i expected, loose parts. needed to glue these two together.
small misalignment, nothing much to worry about.
so far so good. i noticed that this model's parts are similar to the TGs of Bandai, aside from the extra weapons and head… a slight alteration of colors and they also added extra details here and there.
my favorite part of this kit so far, i mean look at it…
the head was pretty simple to put together.
the mohawk tail isn't that stable, the horns do fine.
loose shoulder armor.
thats all for now, till next time!
finished this build around the start of febuary, and only had the time to post it now. so this was just a simple custom i dint actually plan to do, but once you start modding, its really hard to stop. ended with a wing gundam fenice feel to it having one wing and all... total coincidence. though i had quite plenty of mistakes in this build, im proud i actually got to finish it. so here you go, Freedom Burnout.
